Our mission of the District 33S Lions' Diabetic Committee is to host a fundraising event to raise money for camp scholarships. The scholarships will help send children with Type 1 Diabetes to summer camp. Camp provides these children with an invaluable education. Being with peers in a positive safe environment teaches them how to live with diabetes and have an active, healthy life. In addition camp provides their family with peace of mind knowing their child is being cared for in an environment which can address all of their medical needs.
